![]() ![]() Although these are expensive, one of them (Superweapon Ingeniuty) is really, really important to a Beam Overload build (current Beam Meta). Instead of Promise of Ferocity you could use Weapon Emitter Overdrive (Vaadwaur Jugg, Promo Box) or Terran Goodbye (Mirror Warship, lockbox) wich are both slightly better, but alot more expensive.Ģ traits you also want: Superweapon Ingeniuty (SI)and Preferential Targeting (PT), where SI should be the first one to get. Now we have 3 traits from the C-Store here you can think about. Again, if you want practicality, Go with the Romulan version bc it's Fed and KDF, if you don't like the Looks of it and want to fly it, get the KDF Tactical version, although I think they look equally Shi*t xD I only like the Andorian Pilot Escorts looks of all the Allied Escorts, but the tactical Versions trait is really good, so might aswell roll with the Rommie or KDF tactical Pilot Escorts. If not using a torp (wich would only be ok/benefitial on a Disruptor or Phaser DBB build) then you can get something like Promise of Ferocity - basically all stacked up it's 20% Cat-2 Damage Boost, comes of the tactical Versions of the Allied pilot escorts wich are nice ships aswell. ![]() Why? Account unlock also for Feds, great Energy Platform itself aswell, you can do DBBs or Arrays on it, also makes a good torp boat, so alot of flexibility, alotta Performance, one of the most powerful C-Store Energy boats without doubt, almost equal to the Gagarin, so you'd have your beam boat here already If you like the ship. ![]() Trait basically is, whenever you damage a foe that does not have you targeted you gain +5% Crit Chance (wich is great) and 5% Cat-2 (Bonus Damage) boost and decreases your threat generation by 60%, all for 30 Seconds, but it will keep refreshing so it'll be up 100% of the time.Īssuming you want to go with a torp on the build (basically any broadsiding build and any DBB build that's not Phaser or Disruptor, although you can fit a torp on Phaser and Disruptor perfectly fine) is Supercharged Weapons - Comes of the faction flagships, again, highly suggest using the Romulan version wich is the Khopesh. Strike from Shadows - comes off the M'chla Pilot Bird of Prey wich is a good Raider platform by itself featuring Raider Flanking, a Battle Cloak AND Pilot maneuvers for extra fun. Other ships for traits, assuming you want to DPS with beams: If you really feel the need to absolutely get the Kurak for whatever reason, well so be it but I suggest getting the Morrigu for above named reasons. Why? Simple: The Morrigu Warbird has the same trait, is a good platform for a forward firing Beam or Cannon boat, and Feds can fly it aswell, meaning you don't need to buy another ship If you want the trait on a Fed. So, focusing on Starship traits now instead of having to bother with them later is perfectly fine, however note that you don't need them, unless you really wanna push DPS into absurd amounts. So, Beam boat is good to start of with bc it's relativly easy to do and fly, and makes the most "sense" as in not giving you day-long headaches.
